Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Government Physical Education College for Women, Chinsurah, Hooghly
As per advisory and requirement of the National Assessment and Accreditation (NAAC), GPECW, Hooghly established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) by considering quality enhancement is a continues process. IQAC is an important part of the institution’s system and work towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The IQAC, GPECW has been established on 20.08.2019 to assure quality of education of the students and run the college administration smooth and effectively.
OBJECTIVES:
- To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institutions.
- To improve the coordination amongst the different section of the institutions.
FUNCTIONS:
Development and implementation of quality benchmarks/indicators for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
To create better and effective teaching –learning process, a learner centric environment is required by the institutions.
Arrangement for feedback response from students, alumni, parents, and other stakeholders on quality related institutional process.
Conducting of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars, symposium, on quality related themes and promotion of quality of education.
Documentation of various programmes / activities leading quality improvement.
Development of quality culture in the institution.
Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to the NAAC.
