The institution has a seminar committee under the teacher's council and the committee organize seminars, workshops, panel discussion, extension service programme etc. The committee also encourages teachers to undertake research projects and conduct research work. Each year the college organize seminars, students seminars, extension lectures, workshops in order to improve the quality of students as well as teachers. Indeed Dr. Shyamal Mazumder, Principal of this college presently supervising two Ph.D scholars under Burdwan University.
